History
The sound group ne I was formed by two identities 2046 a Erixikora.
Although they played together for couple years already it doesn’t seems their way will be connected on more than few occasions. In the middle of 2009 they where joined by the Eva Kratka for the “Concert on the roof” event in gallery Benzika. This event shows that the tight connection brings fruits.
Since then ne I went through many transformations bringing in the game many new sounds and is always happy to collaborate with anyone who is interested to play with us.
Concept
ne I grows up in the visual art field transformed in to a sound investigator keeping it’s visual way of the sound understanding.
ne I group primarily looks for any occasion during which we can enhance our experience of common life. The output is sound and visual representation with no fixed priority.
One of the main goal is use common things from the local space and pull them up on the sunlight where we can see them in a new form. We want to emphasize the beauty of the normal things, show that the world is full of interesting things we can learn from. By this process we would like to remind us all the importance of already present things.
The motto of ne I “beyond humane code” means for us the utmost demand for the unseen human experience. The goal of our work and performances is generally to always evolve and never be the same. In order to reach such a goal we always create new stuff for the upcoming event with focus on the conceptual thread we are currently working on.
Although we have our own preferred tools such as Theremin, Iphone, Linux distortions and Ableton we always look for another. Once we feel that the output going to be stabilized we always stop what we doing and seek for new ways how to develop and transform our current state.
As a consequence of this concept we do not perform memorized songs or any similar repeatable outputs!
